EV charger installation · Cowbridge
From £900 + VAT (£1,080 inc VAT), fully fitted
From £900 + VAT fully fitted. Cowbridge has more period and listed property than anywhere else on the patch, and that changes how a charger has to be installed — cable routes matter, fixings matter, and where the unit sits on the elevation matters. Priced properly, before anyone visits.

Cowbridge
Cowbridge is the one town on this patch where the building matters as much as the electrics. A large part of the centre sits within a conservation area, and there is a significant amount of listed and period stock along and off the High Street. That does not prevent an EV charger — it changes how it gets done.
In practice that means three things. The charge point position needs thinking about so it is not sitting on a principal elevation where it will be an eyesore or a planning problem. Cable runs want to be concealed or routed along existing lines rather than fixed straight across old stonework. And fixings into period fabric need care rather than a hammer drill and hope.
The other Cowbridge reality is that many of these houses have thick stone walls and awkward internal routes, which makes the survey genuinely worth doing properly. A run that looks like ten metres on paper can be twenty by the time it is routed sympathetically. Aled would rather establish that in advance and give you a real number than quote optimistically and revise it on the day.

Usually yes, but the position and cable route need care, and depending on the listing and where the unit would sit you may need consent from the council. Aled will flag it at the survey rather than find out afterwards.
From £900 + VAT fully fitted. Period properties more often need longer or concealed cable runs, which is the main thing that moves the price — and it is established at the survey, in writing, not on the day.
Only where there is genuinely no alternative, and only with the route agreed with you first. On period property the aim is to follow existing lines and keep penetrations to a minimum.
